Huludao (Brunei) Steel Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huludao Steel Tube Industry Co., Ltd. in Brunei Darussalam. The project is located in the Salambigar industrial area of mora County, Brunei. The project will invest 49 million 983 thousand US dollars, covering an area of 46380 square meters. It is planned to build a 1600 longitudinal shear line, a 114 high frequency straight welded pipe production line and a 273 high frequency straight welded pipe production line. After the project is completed, it has the production capacity of one hundred thousand OCTG per year. The project started in October 2013 and signed a formal contract with the Brunei government on April 26, 2014. After a series of preparatory work, it began construction in May 2015. After nearly two years of construction, it has basically completed the civil construction of the factory area, the factory building and the office building, and is carrying out decoration and equipment installation. The project is scheduled for trial production in August this year. After the project is put into operation, it will bring 100 jobs to the locals. It will play a positive role in promoting Chinese economic exchanges. It also responds to the call of the policy of one side of China and expands the influence of Chinese enterprises on the local market.
